LGBTQ Archive

From 2015 to 2017 I worked as the LGBTQ Archivist for the University of Wisconsin – Madison, helping to build the first ever LGBTQ focused archival collection in the area. In addition to creating a growing collection, the archive is active on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram. You can find out more about the collection on the University Archives website here.

In order to encourage both visits and donations to the archive, I published articles regularly in Our Lives, an LGBTQ-focused magazine in Madison.

I produced multiple exhibits and archival viewing events for the LGBTQ Archive, sharing the collections with hundreds of visitors. The gallery below includes some images from the event, as well as posters I created to accompany various exhibits.

Photos from the 2016 exhibit are available here.

Photos from the 2017 exhibit are available here. I also produced a booklet to provide context for the exhibit, which is available here.
